Just wondering if there was a source somewhere that could give me a brief summary of the two books, that way when Skyrim comes out I'll be all caught up w/ what's happening. Like, why the Legion denounced Talos. And I heard that the Nords and Orcs helped invade Morrowind after Vvardenfell was destroyed, so why did the Nords allow the Dark elves to take refuge in Skyrim? I'd read the books myself, except I don't like to read anything more than liked 10 pages long.. They shoulda just made movies :goodjob:

Well, the books really dont detail much on that. They only briefly go over how morrowind was destroyed. Kinda tragic tbh, but thats the best piece of info you'll find, and nothing else is really relative to the game and current political state of Skyrim. Other then, perhaps, Solstheim is now occupied by the Dunmer...

The reason for that was that, even though they've primarily been at each others throats, they realized that the dunmer survives were, how to say, like wounded animals, and would fight to the bitter end to survive. Basically, the death toll it woulda taken was far far beyond what would be considered worth while. So when they moved in, they grudgingly moved aside. However one of the characters would like to believe it was out of kindness, not just political reasons.

Alot of the things you'll actually see will be from events that occurred long after the 2 book series ends. I'd be surprised to even hear mention of Umbriel.
