boone problems : Fallout: New Vegas

So this has happened a few times but ill be playing and anytime I get close to novac at night Boone gets blown up by a huge missile hitting the dinosaur. Is anyone else have this problem and I really want to no why It happens because its annoying. First time it happened I lost about 7 hours of gameplay reloading my save

Based on another thread in this section I wish this would happen in one of my games....... I envy you.

To try to be helpful I have never ever encountered this. Nothing on the Vault about it either.

If you figure out what is causing it let us know so I can give it a try too!

I couldn't find anything on the vault or YouTube either. I'm on Xbox 360 so I don't have any mods affecting it.
