Hey gang, is it possible to prevent Boone from becoming unconscious so often..? Can I provide him with quality armor and weapons for better protection..? Is there another method or is this part of the gameplay..? Thanks..!

Giving him Powered armor comes to mind, though it sounds like your difficulty may be on a high setting.
IF ya give him regular weapons, remember those do not use the magical companion ammo.

Yes you can. He looks great in the Reinforced Leather armor and you can give him a better weapon and lots of ammo. It can be a job to keep him in ammo so I take the Scrounder perk too. You can also give him Stimpaks and he'll heal himself.

Switch hardcoe Mode on and then fire 5 AMR rounds into his skull. Sorted no more unconscious Boone.

Wowzers, Papafern -- now why didn't I think of that...?! I can tell Boone is a real favorite of yours.

Just give him better armor.
