So as the title suggests, This is about boones hunting rifle. Is it a weapon exclusive to boone? and Does anyone know the weapons stats? I keep trying to give him the sniper rifle to equip but he just holds it in his inventory and when im trying to kill deathclaws i need him to have a weapon that actually inflicts damage. I have the antimaterial rifle (dont hate, its just while i build up my lockpick to get the gobi campaign scout rifle) but sometimes it just doesnt get the job done, and boones rifle gets blocked by the deathclaws DT.

You need to give him .308 ammo if you want him to equip the sniper rifle.

1) Yes it is
2) It's a "normal" Hunting Rifle stat-wise
3) Boone's unlimited .308 ammo will only work with his special Hunting Rifle
