Re-boots. Now, Before, and Again.

So I wanted to poke at a little thing that I just saw. A rumor that Skyrim will be re-released for next-gen consoles.

Now as many of you know this is classified as a "reboot". What I'm going to complain about is WHY. Why would they re-boot or re-release it for next-gen consoles? This same thing is happening to The Last Of Us. I'm guessing they both will be prettier. In TLOS they are also including the DLC that came with it and giving it a $60 price tag. Now, my first question is will they do this to Skyrim? They could take the approach to make two Skyrim re-boots. I mean Dragonborn and Hearthfire DLC as one and Dawnguard with Hearthfire as another. I think this would be an interesting idea but it would take more investing to do. Another question is would you want to buy this? Now I can understand if you don't have the game but you have a PS4 or XB1. In that case I would buy it too. But I already have it. Why would you ever want to buy a re-boot of a 2011 game for SIXTY DOLLARS!?!?! Maybe for the hardcoe fans but I wouldn't. My suggestion would be that they should re-boot OBLIVION or even maybe MORROWIND. It just makes no sense the re-boot a game that is so new.

EDIT: I know that this won't happen it is just something I want to poke at. :D
