Border Mountains Skyrim/ HighRock

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:20 pm

Hi,

does anyone know the name of the border mountain between Skyrim and Highrock? I havn't found it yet.
There are the Dragontail Mountains and the Jerall Mountains in the South, the Velothi Mountains in the east, but how is the western mountain belt called?

Any help would be great.

I think The Reach might be what you're looking for. Technically they border Hammerfell, but they may also border High Rock.

No, the Reach is a hold, not a mountain. It's southwest in Skyrim

Whoops, my bad. I've looked at every map I know of and I can't find anything. They just might not have a name that has been mentioned yet.

Yes, maybe you are right...if there is really no existing name we have to create our own name for that border...but the lore correct name would be better

Itsn't this region named even in Daggerfall??? I can't remember, it's ten years ago when I bought and played it.

The map in Daggerfall only shows the southern portion of the region, you don't get anywhere near Skyrim.

That's also what I thought the first time I've seen the map...but no, it's not possible, they are close to the bay and this position if far away from the Skyrim Border.

I'm fairly certain it's the Wrothgarian Mountains, at least near Wayrest.

Between Hammerfell and Skyrim is the Dragontails.

Studying the map here, http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8840/tamrielmap.jpg , the Wrothhgarians stretch northwards up past the bay and along the border.
