First: holidays are awesome exactly because you have nothing to do :P

On topic though play, listen to music, write on these forums, hanging with friends and sleeping.

Outside the door to your place you'll find a lot of scary things called "people". Some of them might have a few things in common with you. You can use that to your advantage in taking one of those common things and partaking in them with those people to pass time, as posting here isn't much relief from boredom given the mostly boring topics like this one.

I'm honestly never bored.. keep myself entertained quite easily.

Build a random device or take up some kind of arts and craft hobby or something.

I'm trying my hand at making steam punk items. Just find a lot of junk and brass, and knobs, dials, and whatever looks like it should go there.

Who are these "people" you speak of that may have something in common with me?

As for being bored, it doesn't happen to me either. The only time I get bored is when I'm doing homework for a class I have no interest in i.e. Biology. Unless of course it's anatomy. :hubbahubba:

Go do the dishes!

...or at least that's what mum always told me to do when I complained that I was bored.

Learned that lesson pretty fast.

OMG I'm so bored I've draw up a basic map to escape my house during a zombie attack. I worked out a simple but effective way to get to The River Thames which going any main routs and mostly on roof tops and on some shop roofs to get supplies. Once I get to The River Thames I will wait for low tie and get to ever on a boat (Sail powered because I not stopping for gas the for dummies) or a barge and spend the next few nights in the middle of The Thames fortifying the boat and getting supplies and will sail around the coast line. getting other survivors and then taking a map and finding small of shore islands until we find one ever not affective by the infection or with no people on it set up shop there and build farms and slowly build up a community.

Or get one of the docking ships on The Thames like HMS Belfast which has a big stock of food with bed, get a qualified drivers (most likely my brother because he was apart of the Royal Navy) and take it out to sea. take the smaller boat onto of the ship to pick up survivors around the coast line. there are working radios on board the ship and I will use that to contact other people.

What do you usually do in your spare time? What is preventing from doing what you usually do?

As for your plan. How would you find an uninhabited island? Are you even sure that there are any that aren't way out in the middle of the ocean? I'd just skip that and go straight onto the second plan.

Get together with some friends and do something. If they're the nerdy type, try something like a pen and paper rpg. Those games are limited only by your imagination.

I maintain my computers when I get bored. Do routine maintenance. If I am done with that then I go to my phone. Try out new ROMs on my Droid. (Right now I am flashing to Liquid Gingerbread)

Sounds like me when I was about nine years old in the summer:

"Mom, I'm bored!"

I grew out of it once I was old enough to go where I wanted to.
