Alright! I am back! I was finding myself checking the Fallout: Rebirth topic because lets face it, it is a GREAT story, and the guy hasn't updated it in forever, which made me a bit angry, but I know he has other things to worry about other than writing a story on a video-game forum. I decided not to make you guys (readers who I think exist..) feel like I did checking that topic seeing it is not updated.

"Autumn." I could tell he could see the hate in my eyes, there was a slight look of fear on his mid-aged face.
"Well Kody, how do you like it?" He was acting like a father buying his son his first car.
"Gee dad, it's everything I ever could have hoped for!" My sarcasm didn't seem to please him. I don't care for him, so it doesn't concern me.
"I suppose you are mad at me for ordering my soldiers to knock you out, but we both know that if I hadn't done so, people would have gotten hurt."
"By 'people' I think you mean you and you cronies."
"Why do you speak with such hate? I let you return to your old life. Don't you see? This is where you belong! You are the person we need to fix this country! Your friend Amata has even ended her drug habits."
"What? You knew about that?!"
"Kody, you did not think we could really miss heavy smoke coming from her apartment? We did it to stop you from doing something rash. What do you say? Come back, and this country will be back to its former glory."
"By 'glory' I think you mean..."
"Yes, I know about the wars and the nuclear bombs that were dropped. Your sarcasm and jokes leave much to be desired."
The choice was simple, a yes or a no. But at the same time, it was so difficult, the rest of his life would be very different depending on a few sounds.
Autumn looked into my eyes. He was completely serious now.
"Yes or no?"

"Welcome back soldier." Colenol Autumn's face had a smile on it. That was rare. My salut was stronger than ever, because today was the day I joined my fellow Americans as an American Soldier.
The PA buzzed on. ~"This is Private Richardson and I have some messages for personnel here in Fort Gargantuan. The Commandent orders all personnel to return to their duties. I'd like you all to welcome back recently graduated, Kody Burlington, who just came back from his first mission. Also, I'd like to inform all soldiers that the armory will close early today due to maintenance. Have a good day everyone"~
"My first mission? But I haven't gone on one yet."
Autumn's face scrunched. "It was a cover-up soldier, now go to the armory,"

"We have a surprise for you."

This story will be TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN. I have other things to do. Like Halo: Reach (no Black Ops, I'm not a CoD kind of guy), New Vegas, and my "Resource Wars" fanfic. I will most likely resume after people post enough votes on the poll. Cause honestly, only one person other than me voted.
