I know this isn't really that important, but it seemed like an interesting concept to me. What if the soul our characters are born with is a reincarnation of a dragon? With its own history, personality, and what have you. I know it wouldn't mesh with the "you are who you blah blah blah" rhetoric that the developers have been using, but still. It got me thinking for a moment.

A mortal dies, their soul leaves Mundus, it gets "cleansed" of all memories and whatnot, and then it gets put into a fresh newborn body.

How do dragon souls work, I wonder? Good question...

The inside of your body is pure flame and mixed powers.. If your skin gets cut pure magic comes out as blood.. But your to powerful to get cut open.. :flame:

You were born with the soul left over from another dragon, but you cannot remember anything from that incarnation. That's why the years you spend as a man/mer also define what you are. So you get a mix of both in one being.
