i wonder why, because since this dlc is all about a crazy guy controlling a robot army, why the BOS isn't envolved?
last time i checked, robots are advanced technology, so they should be involved...

Depending on your ending the BoS might be wiped out. Also compared to the Institute a crazy person buiding robots isn't considered a threat
Why, while BOS do salvage robots they aren't particularly interested in them unless they are in the form of a robot army threatening mankind.
It really all depends when it occurs in your playthrough:
1. The BoS hasn't arrived yet. They can't do anything about it if they're not there, now can they?
2. When they arrive, they have more pressing matters involving the Institute. What's gonna get the most resources to deal with: a crazy waster making killbots or an organization with advanced tech making near-perfect robotic copies of humans?
3. If they win... they're already on it. I mean, you are a top-ranking member of the BoS, yeah?
because they...wait...oh yeah were in spoilers...CRASHED INTO THE GROUND in a fiery ball of death.
They will not be missed.
True, but using that argument you would about have to put the BoS in every DLC and side quest. I think the BoS knows not to spread themselves too thin. They know these things are out there, but they will get to them in time.
Probably be like when you take Strong as a companion onboard the Prydwyn. The game might throw out a few interesting bits of new dialogue, but it won't mess with the functionality of the whole thing and have the brothers gunning him (and you) down on the flight deck.
Which, if you think about it, would make perfect sense if they did. Same goes for Nick. Alas that kind of common sense falls way to convenience.
but i think it's hillarious that after danse quest, BOS is hostile to him, and not to a synth, ghoul or supermutant...
i wouldn't mind if they gave 1 warning about nick, hancock or strong, but next time you go with them, BOS would attack them
Not sure they have a real issue with non-feral ghouls (it's been discussed). Anytime I ever hear the BoS talk about it they are very specific to say Feral Ghouls, not just Ghouls. I think it's agreed though that neither likes the other.
If nick, hancock or strong were hostile to BOS then I assume they would as well......and by hostile I mean as a game mechanic since both Danse and BOS shoot each other on sight after he is banished, it makes him next to impossible to use him as a companion in a BOS playthrough. Although he is also schizo enough that he is angry if you destroy BOS while gunning them down at every opportunity.
Yeah its been discussed to death, it would be character though if they refused you access to their bases if you had a 'questionable' companion with you.
I don't think Bethesda throughout Danse being a synth.
I believe he was originally going to be a possible replacement for Maxson as Elder according to what I've read, which would suggest to me that the Danse being a Synth was added later in the process, which leaves us with his Schizo performance as he is hostile to all BOS, remains pro-BOS and anti Synth and is angry at the player for destroying them.
Because they are patrolling the Commonwealth and keeping it safe by completely decimating and destroying all raiders, gunners, crazy robots, super mutants, and feral ghouls that they come across.
Weren't BoS rolling around with SetryBots and RoboBrains in FO3? I think they're generally down with mecha as long as they're serving their agenda.
