Na man, I believe this is a real desert eagle, apparently chambered for .44's.
It looks pretty sick either way, though I think it needs to look more "grimy" for a fallouty feel. Though I don't expect you to go dunk it in a bucket of mud, still maybe some kind of tan-brown spray paint to make it look like it's been sitting around for a while.

I agree with Yttrium,It looks like it was just made if it hade a dirt/grime on it then it be perfect.
