Maybe someone experienced in scripting/modeling can answer my rather silly and strange question. Recently, I was modding the decals on BoS armors, I assigned a custom mesh for the decal. When I was checking all the references for BoS armors in GECK, I found a special version of PA , called "MQ01SpecialLowCondPowerArmor", which was assigned to Initiate Reddin and the dead Initiate named Jennings. And then I noticed something strange, the decals on their armors were not to be seen. To be honest, the decal on Reddin's PA is visible when she is alive, but when she dies (back-stabbed by a Behemoth), the decal on her armor "magically" disappears as well. I turned off all mods (btw, I have no mods interfering with Power Armor in any way, double-checked with FO3Edit) and removed the custom decal mesh. The issue still persists. On the other hand, when I put a regular version of power armor to Jenning's inventory it appeared fine in GECK's render window, but not in-game. My guess is that maybe a special "dead-body decal" (like blood or gore???) is assigned to a dead NPC, thus preventing the other decal from being displayed, but I tried killing the other BoS NPCs and their decals were normal. I know, this hardly can be called an "issue", but if someone could investigate this and satisfy my curiosity I would be really grateful. Thanks!
