I have completed the BoS quests and am now awaiting Hardin to become Elder of the chapter. When I talk to Hardin he says to give him some time or a few days, something like that. So yea, I gave him time.. 3 weeks or more of in-game time and still NOTHING. He still hasn't taken the position of Elder and therefore I can't get my power armor training.

I'm on the 360 so no console commands. I can't load an earlier save as that was about 20-30 hours ago game-time.

Any suggestions?

If you helped Hardin become Elder, wait 3 days for McNamara to be overthrown. Speak with Hardin
and tell him you wish to join the Brotherhood. He will tell you he wants the Van Graffs family at the
Silver Rush eliminated. Once they are dead Hardin will train you in using Power Armor.

There is a glitch where placing Hardin as Elder if you did the filtration part of McNamara's quests will mean that Hardin will never become elder. There is no way to stop this except load an earlier save. That's what you get for taking the easy way out :spotted owl:

I'm not surprised this wasn't fixed in the patch.

Oh well.... time to go kill some BoS....

Sorry, I missed that. But you can still get power armor training by doing Arcade's quest.
