Bosmer and the aldemeri dominion.

So i'm slightly confused, apparently the bosmer are allies with the new aldemeri dominion but lore reports that over the last few hundred years more and more bosmer have been leaving the cities and living a simple life in the forests of valenwood like there ancestors. The tribal council hasn't met in decades since they started to lose trust in the dominion and the empire and now valenwood is considered by most to be a mere geographical designation without any political purpose. Not to mention that there are reports of abuse by the hands of the high elves against the bosmer, so where exactly do the bosmer stand in the dominion now?

Valenwood joined the AD. I doubt they asked the tribal Bosmer what they thought of it. Some of the nobility of Valenwood have always been Aldmeri plants or holdouts from the Ayleid Empire, like the Camoran Dynasty. Their goals are actually dialectically aligned with those of the Aldmeri Dominion and opposed to the human Empire, which they view as usurpers.
