Another little fix required

From r325 it reads:

Actually; "Sutch reborn Lighthouse Fix UL.esp" REQUIRES "SutchReborn-LostCoast patch.esp"
It's one of its masters.

OK, thanks for the heads-up. :)

Just as a side note, you know you could combine the OBSE/non-OBSE plugins using an OBSE script check? It would make things simpler for people installing, and in my experience, simpler is always better. Just a suggestion. :)



Not sure how to do that.

Truthfully i'm a total clutz when it comes to OBSE. I only used it in this case because of one single command: increasing attack damage directly.

Without downloading a ton of stuff, what lighthouse in the UL are they talking about? There's not one.

There is a direct landscape conflict between Mimics!.esp and xulCloudtopMountains.esp, which can only be resolved by a patch. You may want to include that warning on these two files in the masterlist.txt.

Don't blame you. Sutch Reborn reuires the CyrodiilUpgradeResousePack.esm - it's huge!
Sutch Reborn is kind of broken at the moment (a bunch of stuff doesn't load with the latest version.) I'm downloading an earlier version to see what's what.

There was some confusion about this fix. Apparantly it has something to do with the Unoffical Oblivion patch. The 'fix' has two versions; one for just the UOP and Sutch Reborn, and one for the UOP, Sutch Reborn and Unique Landscapes Beaches of Cyrodiil The Lost Coast

The lighthouse (from the Sutch Reborn mod) is down all the (many many) steps from the upper town, by the wharf.

Oh. That lighthouse. You know, I should have remembered it was there since I've been tinkering with the original Sutch mod that ADCK put out there half done (same base Sutch Reborn uses) and totally forgot about the dock village.

As far as the UOP is concerned, if it's landscape cells, there's no need for any patch. The UOP does not contain one single land cell edit anywhere. Kivan took them all out. I've looked at that patch file before and every last edit in it is complete rubbish. It serves zero purpose as all it does is duplicate land cell records from the Sutch mod, which of course is loaded immediately before it anyway.

The UL, yes, that needs a patch because the dock village is on top of the burned one in Lost Coast. Unless that got changed in one of the many Sutch updates :)

adg211288 removed that 'fix' mod and replaced it with this new one (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27097) in which he states:
"apparently caused by a changed mesh file for the lighthouse in the UOP (thanks Vorians)."

Whatever the cause; that fix is needed, on top of the SutchReborn-LostCoast_patch, in order to fix that lighthouse issue. :shrug: (At least for some, such as myself.)

Oh; the main change in the latest Sutch update is that it dosn't work properly (missing textures and stuff) :rolleyes:

I'm using the latest version from Google code, so I know it's not on there yet. Just thought I'd let you know that it should be inputted. As for load ordering of the mod itself, I do not know. Skycaptain would have a better idea of where to put it in the load order than I would.

I just felt like contributing in my own small way to this project. I'm using around 227 mods right now, and only that one single mod is unaccounted for. I'm highly impressed.

Replacing your masterlist with that one will make yours up to date. Failing that; here is where they basically belong:

I see. Well. This would be the second time that someone has said the UOP edits land only to find it DID edit something else but whoever reported it didn't look into it properly and insisted it was because of land cells. I didn't even notice that the mesh itself had been altered like that because I really have no reason to suspect that. And frankly have no idea why it was apparently felt necessary to "fix" the lighthouse mesh at all since the collision was never adjusted to match. There's not enough snipped away to say it'll be some kind of magic pill for FPS drain, though that portion is well and truly buried in Anvil.

Assuming people aren't folding the UOP fixers into their custom BSAs like I am, the easiest thing would be to simply delete this mesh from the loose files in the Data folder, rather than eating an ESP slot to fix a problem that didn't really exist as a land defect.

And updates resulting in missing textures is probably not good :)
