Hi! Maybe I found something:

BOSSlog says:

"PersuasionOverhaul_OOO.esp [Version 1.2]

* Note: If using this don't also use 'PersuasionOverhaul_MMM.esp'."

The Readme of PO says:

"If you use OOO load the PersuasionOverhaul_OOO.esp. If you use MMM load the persuasionoverhaul_MMM.esp, and consequently load both if you use MMM for OOO or FCOM.

Correct Load order for Full
1: OOO and MMM related mods
2: Persuasionoverhaul.esp
3: Persuasionoverhaul_OOO.esp
4: Persuasionoverhaul_mmm.esp"

Load Order change request

Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood.esp is already defined in the masterlist. However, the latest version (v2.1) has introduced changes to make it compatible with VH Bloodlines. As a result, it should be placed differently in the load order. From the readme...


I am currently loading these as follows

Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood.esp loading after VHBloodlines 1.2 Vwalk.esp
Vampire Hunting - Order Of The Virtuous Blood Vwalk.esp loading after Vampire Hunting - Order of the Virtuous Blood.esp

I had to reposition the Vwalk ESP as well.

Hey there! Just a FYI :)
If anyone updated the masterlist.txt recently (to any revision post r2233) and is having problems running BOSS (it crashes due to encoding problems), just update the masterlist.txt again to the last revision and it should solve the issues!

ugh that was a bad merge on my part :doh:... thanks for fixing that up

Update 2. Ok, I do not know how this happened. Going on the BOSS log stating that Oblivion.esm was ghosted, which it was NOT, I deactivated it in Wrye Bash (all children mods were also deactivated), then reactivated it and from my latest save file, reloaded masters. Renamed by userlist back, and re-ran BOSS. Now things are as they should be!

So, how can something like this happen?

I would guess Pacific Morrowind was suffering from Caffeine deficiency at the time he upadated the masterlist. I know i make some real boo boos when that happens, although the same is true from overdoing it on the coffee as well. hmmm coffee....

Thanks for the heads up, I won't be updating my masterlist anytime soon anyway since I've started pyffing my Oblivion Meshes.bsa.

I recall seeing Oblivion.esm being duplicated - one an esm extension and the other with a ghosted extension - really messes things up.

I made sure WB had ghosting turned off, then removed all ESPs and ESMs that had a ghosted extension in the data folder. I have not seen the problem again, but it sounds like you had the same experience and it might be worth checking that you do not have any double entries (esp/esm and ghost)

Thanks. I just checked that, and I don't have any rogue .ghost files. I have taken another step, just in case my Bashed Patch was screwy in some way. I deleted it and created a fresh one. Let's see how it goes.

The current BOSS MasterList file has MidasSpells.esp loading after Personality Idles - Modified version.esp.
It should be the opposite in order for Personality Ides to work properly.

Haven't looked at it, but if it is changing script assignments on vanilla records, then yes, it probably does. Otherwise no.

nah I don't think from the sounds of it that is was the masterlist more like BOSS getting confused by doulbed up ghosted files... however Caffeine deficiency... well fairly likely seeing as I don't do any... no coffee, chocolate, green/black tea... 100% drug free fellow here... somewhat abnormal I know :D (One of my puritanical tendencies I suppose).

I've had duplicated ghost files once or twice previously but that was before BOSS read .ghost files (like a LONG time before) so I don't have any proof but I'm definitely thinking you're right.

is it only the modified version or would that same requirement be for the other versions as well (if you know)?... because there's a hidden comment just below one of them that mentions that it wants to be before P1DSeeYouSleep... so if both of them have to be moved down late after Midas it'll be a LOT of moving of P1D patches (like dozens of em)... so I'm wanting to avoid that if possible... thanks;
