Both NCR and Powder Gangers are hostile, wtf?!

I'm very early in the game, having completed Ghost Town Gunfight and halfway through My Kind Of Town. I just left the Powder Gangers jail after talking to Meyers about becoming sheriff for Primm. I tried to start I Fought The Law quest but Eddie kept going hostile every time he saw me regardless of me wearing Powder Ganger armor, maybe because I sided with Cobb and helped Goodsprings? I reloaded a save and fast traveled back to Primm where NCR soldiers are suddenly hostile including Lieutenant Hayes who I never even spoken to. Wtf?

The *Ganger disguise doesn't work on Eddie, as I recall most of the Faction officers/higher ups can see through disguises. Once the PG's are angry I don't think you can *fight the law* when your vilified by the *Gangers. Hopefully you have an earlier save? Just a tip, but I always make 2 or 3 just to make sure I don't save over another character(lost a few guys that way before I learned to pay attention to the save slots lmao.

Maybe I should have helped the PG's before saving Goodsprings? I think somehow the game still recognized me as wearing the PG armor even though I removed it before fast traveling to Primm. I had to shoot my way out of Primm killing only a few insignificant NCR soliders, waited 3 days and re-equipped a neutral armor just to be sure. This seemed to remove NCR's hostility at least. Only other save I have is me leaving Doc Mitchell's for the 1st time.

Yes you can do all the missions for the PG's up to *fighting the law* then if you go back and do goodsprings your only out/losing 1 more mission. There are a lot of options with quest timing, since your just starting out. I advise first rule *have fun* figure out what you like and how things work best for your character, some of my characters have never even helped goodsprings and I am still out running around lol. One great thing about this game, between the different endings, the huge amount of different characters you can make, you can literally play this game for years. (I have played it way too long lol) and that's on 360, if you get pc and all the cool mods, you could be lost in Vegas for a very very very long time:D......
