I bought legendary and when I pop in the disc it doesn't install, but gives me the start screen with a reinstall, remove, or continue play...

Continue play just gives me patch 1.9 with no dlc ...reinstall just goes to validating steam files..."1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" and then only the close window works with no gamescreen.

Steam has no dlc on my file .

At no time am I asked for the steam code from the legendary box...the disc is clearly marked legendary edition...

should I uninstall? Should I just laugh off the 60 bucks I paid and pay 50 more for the downloads from steam?

Did I get a bad disc?

You need to manually add the code to Steam via the Add Game option in the Steam Library screen.
