Bought a new graphic card - crashing at startup

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:21 am

Title says it all. I had an HD 6950 but i could only play the game at low settings. So i bought a GTX 960 4GB today and now the game doesnt start. It says "fallout 4 stopped working" when i hit play on launcher. I tried disabling nvidia streaming service, verifying game files, changing settings; resolution, windowed mod etc...

My system specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Intel i7 4790K

GTX 960 4GB

8 GB ram

Help please. (Bad English)

Edit: Fixed ! I installed an older version of nvidia driver.

Are you running a 32 or 64 bit architecture, also have you properly installed, and updated the drivers for your gtx 960, also have you tried verifying the game cache file integrity on steam?

Did you do a clean uninstall of the ATI Card. The drivers for that might be causing issues.

Have you tried deleting your INI files and starting the game?
