So... I am curious. Would a follower properly use the Bound Bow if they are given the spell or would they use their default bow equipment over it?

If on console, they won't be able to use the spell book at all.

I don't think anyone besides the player can use bound weapons actually. I cannot remember a single moment where an NPC used them.

There's a Dunmer in the Dawnguard DLC who will use the Bound Bow spell. (He is a random encounter guy and you only fight him once type of thing). Forgot his name but to trigger him, you gotta do that one dwemer quest in the DLC.

Also, Thalmor will use Bound Sword spells for melee.

I know but I can still convert the save to the PC version from Xbox 360 and use the PC's "console" to add the spell to my follower... OR I just get the PC version of the game once I get my own gaming PC...
