Yes. On a good character, I want to run out and smite the evildoers. On an evil character, I'd the love the thrill of fighting off bounty hunters who are after me. It'd be fun.

This would be awesome!

I would like to be hunted...and then the hunters become the hunted!

Bounty Hunter mod could make for some great side quests. The challenge would be to add some great story details to each contract so breaks the illusion of being your basic "fetch" quests.
Some ideas:
  • Ability to set traps
  • Some quests require bringing back someone alive
  • Taking a contract and end up being framed for a crime- you becoming the fugitive and having to fight to prove your innocence
  • Final contract going against a real bad ass Mage

Yes and Hells yeah. I really want to be hunted if my bounty is high enough, and bounty hunting would be a cool faction.

Great idea. If they don't implement something in this regard I'll view it as a missed opportunity.

Great idea (liked Regulators in FO3, at least until leader of them ran away to unknown location and fingers became a decoration)

I hope it will be more complex this times though, not only killing, but also capturing them alive too
(paralyze+enchanted wrist irons)
Bringing them in alive should be awarded a bit more

i think it'd be cool if you kill someone and there family finds out the whole family should come after you. and if you go into there town you'll be attacked on sight and the only way to get away with it is to kill them all go into town at night destroy posters and kill witnesses and then you can go into town normally. or wait it out like two in-game weeks or something. and bounty hunting could be cool too like if you see someone get killed you have to chase them through the woods and find them. and even if you find them in-game years later you could still turn them in.
and if you bring them back alive you could watch or perform the execution

I like the idea, you get to kick a convicts ass if you're good, or you can get some sweet gear when they come after you if you're bad.

Not a bad idea...

Could even throw in repeatable, generated quests for it so one could have a living off of it. No tracking of course, that would be too easy

heck yes i want to bounty hunt! I want to walk into a tavern and start a fight in it and grab my bounty by the hear and drag him back to the person who offered the bounty

and to who said it was too red dead, every game could benifit if they had a couple features from red dead.

sounds like it would be super fun until EVERY guard that ever existed came after you, which happened when you did any kind of crime on oblivion and morrowind

Fortunately crime is associated with each city, not the province. bounty hunters would probably hunt you down wherever you are because a city count or king payed them.

real men fight a thousand guards and stand strong! no but it wouldnt be guards hunting you in the woods just trained bounty hunters. and maybe you could go into town with a special cloak and not get noticed. a super rare cloak of silence or something.

Although the bounty hunter idea is good and is something that I would like to see in the game. I don't think it will be in for two reasons. 1 The dark brotherhood is already a sort of organized bounty hunter organization. 2 The dark brotherhood is also known to eliminate any other rivalizing orginization even single people so the bounty hunter that hunts you will be hunted himself :P
