Bounty Hunters able to see through my sneak ?!

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:52 am

So as I was in sneak mode, following some guy named Cius (spelling) for the Dark Brotherhood quest, a bounty hunter ran just straight to me and started to threaten me.
And I just thought that it was kind of funny, coz if I had been closer to Cius during sneaking mode, and this bounty hunter came straight at me, both of them would trying to knife me down.

But anyways, I did die and had to reload, and ambushed the bounty hunter before i followed Cius.

If this part of the game could be properly adjusted in the future, it would make the game run smoother.
Like if you are sneaking, bounty hunters wont find you just like that.....

just me 2 cents.

You expected the kin of Boba Fett to be followed by your pathetic crouching?

For shame.

I remember when a Dark Brotherhood Argonian Assassin attempted to sneak up on my Dovakhin.

I turned around, just seeing her walk towards me slightly crouched, not making a noise as though she thought I hadn't seen her...

... and I couldn't help but just cover my face with my palm.

Most phail assassin ever!

Any NPC who is scripted to force-greet you (i.e. run up to you and automatically start a conversation) will automatically disregard any and all forms of concealment, as a force-greeting takes priority over everything else.

Even if this weren't the case said bounty-hunter shouldn't even know where you are in the first place, since he was presumably only recently sent out and there's no real way for anyone to track your movements.
