I have been playing Skyrim over a year now, but I was never immersed to use bows. It is only with my last character I start using the crossbow that I received from Isran. I have now the advanced Dwarven crossbow and invested some perks in Archery and I improved (smithing) my crossbow as well. Since then i started using my crossbow more and more and you could say it became my primary weapon. I have to say though that on this point I have never used regulary bows, so I don't know the vast difference between bows and the crossbow. And which of the two are the best?
