I like the way he/it looks now, more detailed and unique...not going to lie though when I saw after finding Septimus (or whatever his name is) it freaked me out because I didn't start Dragonborn at that time and had no idea it changed its look so I'm just like "all right now that black hole guy is gonna talk to me *looks into hallway* OH DEAR GOD what is that thing"

Well, it's really freaky at first but then it grows on you...not literally...although that would make it even freakier.

If you have played Oblivion, his image at his shrine is the familiar tentacled being you see in Dragonborn.

He and his Oghma Infinium have been around a long, long, time.

The Oghma Infinium quest was present in Daggerfall as well.

Actually, it always annoyed me how they took away his iconic appearance in the vanilla game. I'm happy he got it back.
