This is what
lead community manager Cry-Tom (Tom Ebsworth) wrote in reply to my original thread Campaign Bugs & Achievement Glitches - EVER be Fixed? concerning achievement & trophy glitches, and further console support in general:
Hey xP3AC3MAK3Rx,
Sorry for missing your messages, we simply didn't see them rather than ignoring them - luckily your PM got my attention

As far was solutions go however, this issue is closely tied to a number of other reports of people having problems with trophys and unlocks. This has of course been raised internally, and created some discussion between develop and publisher, in addition to investigation into the matter.
At this time I could not tell what will happen though, I will continue to talk to people internally and remind everyone that the community needs an answer, but until the matter is settled there isn't anything further I can tell you at this time. Keep an eye out for updates in the future though, as they'll be posted as soon as there is news.
Also he wrote in response to other peoples requests in this thread:
ANGRY MAN TO CRY-TOM: WHY IS THE COMMUNITY BEING IGNORED
Crytek is in no way attempting to ignore people, but unfortunately as far as discussions on this topic between developer and publisher, research into issues and other such matters takes much longer than you seem to imagine. Continuing to remind people of things that are already being done does not make much difference unfortunately, so that's why i will update you when they get back to me.
Just to confirm guys - i'm talking about the issues being raised and people being aware of them. I am in *no way* saying that something good is on it's way - infact I am waiting to hear what people think of your feedback in general.
I would not want to spread any false hope, but will continue to remind people of the thoughts and feelings you guys share here.
By the way,
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli is admitting that he isn't entirely satisfied with
Crysis 2 himself, and he is admitting that there were bugs they didn't fix so far. Also he is talking about
the future video game market, which is free games on
PC. They're not free actually, not if you want to have progress in your game, which requires gamers to constantly buy unlocks to progress their gamplay and personalize it. A **** industry move IMO. "Free" PC & facebook games are on the rise, real gaming seems to slowly die. Horrible. Interviews - Gamescom 2011 - Cevat Yerli - Crytek
I hope I could help my fellow console gamers with this little update on the topic from the
Xbox 360 community.
