Bozar

Recently I decided to go and try the Bozar. I never did that before, because of it being quite expensive but my char is more or less maxed out and rich and bored so I bought it just to see how it is.

I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. It seems to me like a good assault rifle with a scope, basically an improved marksman carbine. The scope is kinda pointless, because of the weapon spread at higher distances, DAM/DPS seems ok. But on mid-range it doesn't do anything better than the Light MG, and for long range the sniper rifle(vanilla, Christine's or Gobi) or AMR is superior anyway.

Is there anything that makes this weapon sooo unique and justifies the steep price?

What makes the Bozar useful for me is to have trigger discipline for the -20% spread, use handloaded 5.56mm ammo for 0.65 spread multiplier and crouch before firing. This brings the spread down to acceptable levels. Avoid long range, mid to short range is where it does well. I find it works well on cazadores as the scope lets you engage from a distance and the spread actually helps you hit the little buggers. Then when they rush you the full auto puts out a lot of rounds in a short time. A LMG would do better for the closing cazadore due to larger ammo capacity but loses the precision to shoot from a distance.

It is not a "pack away all your other weapons, you've found the holy grail" type weapon, but it can be effective and is fun to use. Anything without DT is a good target
