Anyone knows why Brallion's Ring doesn't appear on him when being pickpocketed during the Molag Bal's fourth quest?

Playing GOTY + MPP 1.6.5b + MCP 1.9
Sneak, Agility, Luck - all are enormously fortified.

Used forum search but no one seemed to have this stealing problem...
Any leads would be much appreciated cuz, you know, it's not just about role playing

He does have it in his inventory.
But if I remember correctly, items with 0 value (such as this ring) have a very rare chance of ever being seen in the pickpocket window.

hmm.... so you mean it's all about numerously "ctrl+activate"ing that slaver douch, further fortifying luck to outerspace proportions or quick loading the game?

edit: okey, back form Sadrith Mora.
player->setluck 1000000000 didn't give any results except his empty inventory. => no use in pickpockets here.
Also changing the ring's price in cs didn't do anything.

I don't think you can pickpocket things which the NPC actually has equipped. Like when I steal Divayth Fyr's Deadric armor I have to disintegrate it first or it doesn't work.

But the thing is, this guy has two exquisite rings on him beside this one (...I killed him ). Are npcs allowed to wear 3 rings simultaneously?

edit: further experimentation showed that if i add another pricy ring to his possessions through console the quest item miraculously lets itself seen...

He's not supposed to be wearing the ring, so you should be able to pickpocket it... but it rarely comes up in the pickpocket window anyways.

My apologies. Got the problem - MPP 1.6.5b messes things up (should have tested original morrowind first). Still i'll continue playing, otherwise it'll be damn too painful to reset.

edit: Tested MPP 1.6.4 - same bug. Though the script "brallionScript" is the same in both MPP and original Morrowid.
