So I decided to pick up Oblivion to get into the world, to prepare myself for Skyrim.

I made a Cleric type character (Braun the Holy is his name), Light Armor, One Handed Blunt weapons, Healing and Buffing spells...ect....

Is there a place where you can join up with a religious order like you can with the guilds? I joined the Mage Guild because I haven't found a religious order to hook up with. I was just curious because it would make more sense to the charcter.

I already kind of play him like a Cleric, giving coin to the peddlers and not stealing stuff....ect...

It would just be cool to associate with a church or something also.

The Knights of the Nine expansion lets you join a religious order. That's the only one I can think of.

You could always roleplay stuff a cleric type character might do. Going out and praying at all the wayshrines in the wilderness would be a good one (I think you even have to do this for the KOTN questline at one point).

In the vanilla game, you unfortunately cannot join any of the chapels. But the Knights of the Nine dlc allows you to do so, although it is more geared toward a paladin. It is definitely worth a try, as its one of the better dlcs.

The only proper Religious Order is the Kot9, which is an expansion, But I do recommend getting it, it fits with your character, and its an overall good expansion.

Awesome I bought the GoTY edition so it has it. I'll just have to look up where to start it at.
