Brazillian Gamers

Hi, I'm from Brazil and, like many here , I'm really interested to pre-order Brink, but there is a question...Will the servers allow me to play? I'm asking it because in other shooters like Battlefield I can only play on severs that are in Brazil or near it, but Brink is a new title so probably it'll not have servers working at launch...Will I be able to play? Please be sincere because here games costs 20% of the national minimun wage. Thanks!

I'll bump this in hopes that someone more knowledgeable can give you an answer. Good luck.

On a side note:

"Please be sincere because here games costs 20% of the national minimun wage."

What does this mean? That it's 20% of what the national minimum wage is hourly/weekly/annually? Just curious.

Personally keep stuff like how much you make to your self since it's something that others can be negitive towards.

Not saying ^^^^ is bad, also I will be sure to pass on anything that I find. Cheers :foodndrink:

How is asking what he means by "minimum wage" any indication of his or anyone's actual income? Think/read before posting, please.

Ok then, my bad. I'm just curious to know if he's saying he'll be able to buy the game for 20% of the hourly minimum wage in Brazil, as that would be pretty freakin' cheap. It'd be like $1.50 here. However, the only other logical explanation is that he meant the annual minimum wage, which would be something like $2400.00 here. Yikes.

Monthly :/ , here the minimun wage is about US$ 300,00 monthly, and games for consoles costs more than US$ 100,00

Man, that's closer to 33% then. Do you know what the reasoning is for that, as to why the cost of games is comparatively so much higher, without being relative to the wage difference? Are they just hard to obtain in general or something?

To the Original Post (because the rest got off track :brokencomputer: )

Mid-high ping may be a problem for you but I think they have their own servers so it won't make a player host and kill everyones fun when someone with a Wal-mart connection becomes host.....

Hey, why don't you relax? It's not off track. We're still discussing something that was mentioned right in the OP. What is your problem with it? Did you have to spend a half second extra rolling your mouse-wheel to get to the part you thought was relevant? If it bothers you, don't read, simple as that.

Calm down Buckshot. Any, he was asking about ping, not so much about minimum wage in Brazil. I was just commenting on that. Especially considering the number of blocked threads recently because of being off topic......

Well, why don't you leave that up to the mods, then? I found it interesting and he was more than happy to share.

You know what? I'm not looking for a fight right now so I'll leave you two to your conversation and if this thread gets blocked, it gets blocked. Too tired to care. -_-

I feel your pain... your speed is faster than mine, but your ping sounds worse on average...
