Breeds of Khajiit

M'aiq is wondering... Why isn't there all of the Khajiit breeds in Skyrim? Some people, such as M'aiq, would like to play different Khajiit breeds: especially a Alfiq.

And also... What is the Khajiit breed that we do have? Is it like a Suthay or Suthay-raht? :P

Time and money. There is no real reason to put ALL of the breeds into a single game compared to how much money it would cost. Then there is the fact that there are many breeds that do not walk on two legs, so those are automatically out of the question. I THINK the Skyrim breed s Suthay, could be wrong though.

The Khajiits from Morrowind on have always been Suthay-Rahts. They can't put all the Khajiit races in Skyrim because that would be tremendously unbalanced and a nightmare to do. Imagine how more complex the game would be if you got gigantic tiger cats running around or house cats that are actually Khajiits.

I think the reason why Bethesda chose Suthay-Rahts was because they are they are probably the most balanced Khajiit subspecies that isn't overpowered or under-powered and wouldn't present ingame issues such as being too large to fit in a doorway.

Same could be said with the Argonians. Imagine how scary it be playing as a Naga.

A fair few of Khajitt subraces are not viable for playing as, for example some are sentient housecats and another is a battlecat used as a mount.

If they retconn them out of an Elsweyr game I will be sad though.
