Breton Afterlife?

I thought it was erased and a new person took your place.
Nah, it ties into the whole "divided subgradients of the godhead" thing I think, where a single individual's identity is drawn out of the messy mixed together whole, and upon death you cease being distinct from that whole and return to the state of immortal oneness with everything else, then when born again a new random sampling is drawn out of that whole, so it's not "you're erased and replaced" so much as "you're mixed together with everyone else in an ocean of souls such that there is no *you*, just a single everyone, and then a new expression of yourself is pulled out as a discrete entity"

Well, they do both have weapons-for-hands. Only Pelinal's is left and Ebonarm is right.

It goes further:

Both the names Ebonarm and Pelinal contain seven letters.

Ebonarm's only ally is Sheogorath; Pelinal was crazier than a [censored]house rat.

Ebonarm is popular around Iliac bay; Pelinal was active in Nibenay (It rhymes!)

Ebonarm's symbol is a red rose; Pelinal's symbol is a red diamond.

Ebonarm always wore eight pieces of white gold jewelry; Pelinal was martyred in white-gold tower, being torn into eight pieces.

Ebonarm rides a gold stallion called War Master; Pelinal, upon achieving the rank of Magister Bellorum ('War Master') in the Alessian army, was awarded with a small golden statue of a stallion.

Also, M'aiq is actually Alkosh. If you absorb his soul, you learn the hairball thu'um.

I wasn't talking about going to the Dreamsleeve, I was talking about mortals actually fulfilling their purpose for existing by transcending the mortal plane and achieving something altogether greater. You can't just be a person once and then get heaven forever. You have to work for it and earn it and take everyone with you. Then, you won't just be limited to yourself, you'll be everyone and everything at every time. As Hellmouth said, the Dreamsleeve is like a "better luck next time." Your personal "I" doesn't really matter in the face of the "Eternal I"

What the2crow said is also true, if that helps.

Its so warped and twistsed to make as little sense as possible I don't see how almost any theory no matter how crazy it is could just be discarded. Who says Sovengarde belong's to Shor? I didn't see Shor there, I didn't see the presence of any divine or deadric entity.

You missed Tsun, it would seem. The Nordic aspect of Zenithar, you know? And the warriors in Sovngarde comment Shor isn't there because he is too awesome for your mortal eyes to look upon. Suggesting that they usually see him. Other than that he is giving commands and the like.

The only logical conclusion is that Sovengarde is a Deadric Plane... a Deadric Prince of Glorious Combat, War. Mmaaybbbee Ebonarm!

It's the root-directory of the Daedric Plane of Lorkhan.
