After seeing Crysis 2 multiplayer I never bothered to buy the game it was very disappointing to Crysis 1 fans. The multiplayer in Crysis 1 was very successful and unique. It should be brought back with unlockables to make the game more unique at the same time kind of like BF3 with it's own system. I know devs can make Crysis 1 multiplayer better for Crysis 3. There was no need to follow CoD way.
Crysis 1 had its own awesome game mode. People even made a Mech Assault mod for that game and it worked very well. The reason the multiplayer didn't last long because there was nothing to achieve like BF3 or Crysis 2, except mods. Crysis 3 will be a very successful multiplayer game again if the old game modes are brought back mixed in with Crysis 2 unlockables. Just think how awesome that is to unlock vehicles to drive. Please don't do Crysis 2 multiplayer small size maps again.

Power Struggle, Assault, Crash Site, CTR and Extraction are all good game modes (especially the first two )

Ya, I frankly love the large battlefield like maps compare to Crysis 2 and it's crummy CQC maps. Would have been more fun with vehicles in.

Personally, I really enjoy large maps (like Battlefield). The levels are very team oriented, and you can snipe on them =) . I play Bad Company 2, and with large maps and vehicles, I think it's a really good game. Battlefield 3 is pretty good too =) .
