So I was to bring a Amulet of Arkay to Torbjorn Shatter Shield for his wife, but when I aproach him he says he's crushed abaout his wife and sons or whatever, since they died.
And thers no dialog to give him the amulet.

Is there a timeline or something at this qest, because if there is i'm stuck with 3 amulets in my inventory, and since they are quest items i cant drop them, anyone know how to fix this? i'm playing on ps3.

Im sorry, I think youre stuck with the amulet.
There is no time limit for this quest, but it is possible you killed those people, they were killed in a fight in town that you instigated or in a dragon attack.

Well, if Torbjorn says his family is dead than it must be because either of something insigated by the player, or a dragon attack.
I dont know if dragons actually attack inside that city, I know they do in Solitude and Markath.
There is also I think a slim possibility they fell through the worldspace and ended up dead because of it, but I dont think its very likely.

yes, but his children was dead before starting the quest, and his wife was sick so there could be a timeline, so if using to much time she dies from her ilness.

I think that information is wrong.
It is most certainly wrong about the two flawless sapphires, there is absolutely no time limit on that quest.
I cant think of any situation in Skyrim where time passed matters, and I very much doubt it is the case in this quest.

Looks like you were maybe caught by already having an amulet in your inventry when you picked up the quest amulet.

If you already had an amulet in your inventory you could try dropping it and picking it up, and then try speaking to him again.
The quest is probably scripted to update when an amulet is added to your inventory. I had this problem with another quest, but dropping and picking the thing up again fixed it.

He wanted the amulet to give to his wife Tova. There's no time limit, but if she dies, that's that...

One thing to note, if you do the DB quests and kill Nilsine for Muiri (Mourning Never Comes), Tova commits suicide. That will automatically fail the amulet quest.

I've given him the amulet after his wife has died, check and be certain you the amulet of arky in your inventory. It may be something like "Andurs' Amulet of Arkay" which is already a quest item and thus unsuitible for Torbjorn.
