Hmmm... I google imaged http://www.buycostumes.com/browse/_/N-/Ntt-cleopatra/results1.aspx and came up with some hi-res pics - seems they use a lot of white - the linen I guess they wove back then - accentuated with armbands, collars and belts.
I haven't seen anything with sleeves yet which limits how the clothes would be set up - NioLiv had a very clever way of using left and right forearms which still required an opaque texture over the forearm to prevent it from disappearing.
Armbands are typically up high on the arm and wouldn't cover the forearm - this leaves the body slots, groin - for skirts, male pants - left ankle for shirts, dresses - if you want to https://www.allposters.com/-sp/Various-Egyptian-Costumes-Kings-in-War-and-Ceremonial-Costume-Posters_i1868764_.htm that is.
I don't mind doing a few clothes for your mod I just need to understand what your naming conventions will be, what clothing slots you want to use and which meshes you decide to use - um well i can help with sorting that out if you can't make up your minds
You will need to make some decisions on the unisix nature of clothing or just ignore the fact that the icons in your inventory are going to be either set for something that looks male or female.
I haven't started on naming the clothing items just yet. But here are some of the names of the items that will be used:
1. The basic attire for ancient Egyptian workers was a simple
loincloth.
2. Men of the upper class wore a wrapped skirt that somewhat resembled a kilt over the loincloth. This skirt was called a
shenti. The shenti was knee length. By the 1700s BC some shentis fell to the ankle.
3. Women wore a long sheath dress called a
kalasiris, which extended to the ankles and was held in place by one or two straps over the shoulders.
4. From about 1600 to about 1000 BC Egyptian women also wore a loose, sleeveless cloak, called a
haik, over the kalasiris.
The Egyptians favored white for most clothing, but by the 15th century BC they used colors, including yellow, red, blue, and green. Woven patterns and embroidery added borders and designs to clothing.

I hope this info was enough to get an idea of what is needed for clothing in this mod. Welcome to the team! :foodndrink:
