do a lot of things that you would do in RL if its morally wrong or ambiguous in a way you dont like then dont do it. Unless your roleplaying someone who you want to be somebody is is the oposite of you.

Thats not necessarily true, you'd just need to keep Destruction, the default Flare spell should be able to kill most enemies quickly enough up until level 5, as long as you level well (not power levelling), you can be a very powerful player, without ever resorting to weapons, or detracting from your roleplaying very much (only using Destruction when absolutely necessary). Because, whether its via spells, enchantments or alchemy, Magic is the source of power in the game.

I was about to argue that issue until I remembered that my assassin uses black hand robes...

Also, absorb can be useful in a fight... restoration is not completely helpless in a fight... (i had a restorationalist once... though she did wear heavy armor X<)

anyway, i personally would use a healer to heal, casting defensive spells or curing etc... thus feeling the need for some sort of tank.

If I was RPing a 'true' healer, I probably would only use it to heal/protect, along with using Absorb Health, quite possibly the best spell in the game.

As I said before, Absorb is beast. It takes away the opponents health and gives it to you, thats just fantastic.
