Challenges unlock weapons, leveling up unlocks clothing as well as give you skill points to buy abilities. And I agree with the TC. While the game obviously does lack in a number of areas, it's fun to play. And that in and of itself is the basis of why we play videos games, to have fun. There are things I'd love to see added on via DLC, but as it is now it's a highly enjoyable and addictive game.

I have it on PS3 too. I'm at the point where I can't progress cause I'm not good enough though.
