Brink is going to need more supporters to quote "CRUSH ALL AND STEAL THEIR SOULS".

No bashing on our wonderful original members and new bloods here on the Brink Message Boards, but we need more people. This isn't enough.
That and we might need a Brink 2. Since one game can't topple 10-5 years of marketing experience with things like Call of Duty, and Halo. Even Gears. They all have history, and this game haven't even been released world wide yet.

So, we may make a dent or break a scoreboard or two. But Brink is going to need some time before we can Hulk smash things.

Brink will crush nothing, I hope everyone realizes Brink will be a terrible game if all the CoD players migrate over to it hopefully we can steal some battlefield, borderlands, and AC players. With a few of the better CoD players.

i need a delete comment button i dont like the negative posts granted brinks not out yet but the more hyped the people who will be playing it are the better it gets the word out there on a new form of FPS

well then pray the only people that don't migrate from COD are the annoying lil' kids that spam the voice chats and keep screaming cause they keep getting killed.

Not quite. A LOT of the MAG community will be migrating to Brink. I know most of the guys I run with in MAG will be playing it. And MAG is a similar game in that team work and taking objectives trump KDR boosting. You can spot a CoD player in MAG a mile away, they're usually the ones getting swiss cheesed by AR fire. I predict the same thing will go for Brink, especially since it's aesthetically NOTHING like CoD. So if anyone fires the game up expecting to use CoD tactics and surviving, they've got a hard lesson...and a lot of dieing in game...to look forward to.

Gameplay-wise? All but TF2. (4 years old and as strong as ever; probably gonna last another 4 years before they make TF3)

In terms of sales, probably none of them, sadly. It is going to do quite well for a fresh IP though. For not being an already well-established franchise, Brink is gonna get pretty good numbers, so says I.

I voted Halo series, it seems like they got some of there ideas (or a lot) from TF2, and Gears of War is a success. And I hate Halo more then CoD So I chose the Halo option.
