If you are referring to the pre-order packages then we won't know until a little while after release. I know in MAG that option is available so it is not to be ruled out.

Yes, like the "Spec-ops" DLC and "Doom" DLC, since both of them are included in the BRINK special Edition, i wondered if they're going to become available later after release?

Yes , it's possible . The reason for the pre-oder packs is to attract customers for different sites . After the game release , they may sell it to squeeze a little more milk.

They will not sell the those packages after release. I have been told by several people that this will not happen.

I don't believe they will, it's far more likely they will provide similar options to unlock in game.

Just to add a little to the people saying no...

The devs have said they don't plan to release them - there's been no outright "it won't happen ever" - and they wouldn't be the first to say that and do it anyway.

There were no plans to release the pre-order bonus characters that came with Transformers: War for Cybertron when it was release (they used almost identical wording to SD's denial of plans for the pre-order bonuses), and they all came with the first map pack. There were no plans to release the pre-order characters for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's Multiplayer (also almost identical wording on the same topic) - the first non-free DLC pack includes both. Infamous had a pre-order bonus ability that was only available for pre-orders from certain stores (only one of which exists in New Zealand) - "no plans" to release this DLC to anyone but pre-orders either - It went up at a small price for about 2 months, then they stopped charging for it.

I'm not saying they're definitely going to release it - just explaining that SD's answer on this topic is an evasive one at best, and leaves them plenty of room to say "that's not what we said" if people accuse them of lying.

Just Cause 2 did it, but the Pre-Order stuff came out like 8 months after the game. So it's possible... it just might take awhile after release

Aye, the developers have said several times the pre-order packs will never ever ever be available again. Get them while you can.

 Hello fellow sweden . DLC is more of a map pack are you talking about the clothes like if you buy from Game you get Spec Ops and Doom 3 clothes but amazon you get Psycko Clothes .
I think they wil put out in the shop or somthing for in Alien Versus Predator they made the hardest skin's to get when you Pre-Ordered the game . So if you dont get Pre - Ordered game i think you would get those clothes.
Later on in the game. Well thats what i hope! :sb:

Taken in context of what I just said before you, could you provide a link please? Because I've never heard them say outright that the pre-order packs will never be released, and if it's been confirmed, I'd like to know.

And DLC is downloadable content.

If you download it, and it's additional content for a game, it's DLC. The pre-order bonuses are codes you enter, which allow you to download the extras - that makes those bonuses DLC.

Map packs are DLC as well, but that doesn't mean DLC is always a map pack.

As of now, yes.

They stated it on twitter, but as I have no clue how to use that thing, I can't provide you with a link.

Exact wording of the answer on Twitter:

Replying to someone who asked if the pre-order bonuses will be unlockable through normal play - "The only way to get the pre-order content is to pre-order. There's still time! :)"

Posted by @Brinkgame - the official Brink Twitter account - there's another fan-made account that keeps claiming the pre-order bonuses will never be released, but it's not run by SD, or affiliated with them in any official capacity. So it doesn't count as a legitimate source.

There's still no overt denial that the extras will be released as DLC later, so again, inconclusive. They're only saying that as of now, there IS (present tense) only the pre-order option - they're not stating in any official capacity that NONE of the pre-order packs will EVER be released.
