Brink for Xbox 360 slim?

Post » Fri Nov 26, 2010 5:02 am

Hey folks --

I wanted to post this in the forum regarding hardware/software issues, but it appears that is locked for the time being.

Basically, I have a 4 GB Xbox 360 Slim, and not having a hard drive has been a problem in the past with Reach (since you can't play co-op firefight or campaign without an HDD). I was wondering if I should expect to have the same problems with Brink. Space is really not an issue -- I have plenty of room as I don't have all that many games, but I just wanted to know if content is literally locked by developers to people who don't have a hard drive in their box.

That's all! Hopefully I'll be seeing all of you on the Ark come tomorrow.

I think they are planning on having your characters stored Hard Drive instead of server-sided. So i can see this actually being an issue. Besides, 4GB slim will fill up in no time, Invest in an HDD, It'll save you a ton of trouble down the road.

It will work the same as other games. Save data can't take up gigs of room. Only thing you won't be able to do is install it to the HDD. If you have a USB flash drive with around 7Gb+ on it then you can use that as a storage device on the Xbox and install Brink to it.

Wasn't the Halo:Reach HDD problem solved?

reach hdd issue was fixed. i have a slim model as well but i also have a flash drive with 8gb on it, if you have one it should work like a charm.

I got a big boy slim in October. Still have over 160GB left and I was able to mod the old beige box 360 into a fancy paperweight.

I never got halo reach but I had that HDD problem with black ops. One of the multiplayer maps refused to load had to install it. When you buy a new console always invest in the larger HDD model and always buy them 6 months later to avoid bad batches. :batman:
