Brink is good, but with a few changes, it will be Great.

Alright, look at the poll. What do you think? I'll explain each possible answer..

  • Lobbies - this doesn't bother me, but it is straightforward, Should there be a lobby system?

  • Team-Deathmatch - This is kind of bothering me. Lets all face it, objective 24/7 will get old.

  • Competitive Leaderboards - This is an OBJECTIVE game right? Why not have VERY DETAILED leaderboards with ranking. Would really make the game interesting.

  • High-Level Content - There should be more things you unlock at higher levels, to show you actually earned that max level. Example: gold camo, gold clothing, anything.

  • Increase level cap - Face it guys, level 20 is too low, and it can be reached quite quickly. Why not make it hard, and enjoyable to reach a maxiumum level, with more rewards?

  • Map packs - This doesn't bother me, but it will probably happen. Should there be a lot of map packs? If any?

While your at it, why not check out my gameplay, if you have never played Brink, yet.

First, the game just came out. Being upset about a level cap (Bethesda is known for) and things like asking for map packs on day one is ludacris. This game is by far in a catagory by itself and is the first shooter since BC2 that I have honestly enjoyed, to the point where i have decided to become part of its community. You know as well as i do, how bethesda does things, the cap will be raised, but asking for comp leaderboards is the first thing that will ruin the game, who cares about a KDR when the important thing is your Win/Loss. To my understanding the game will have Online Leaderboards once they get them functional. The problem here is nobody accepts a game for there face value and always want more. And a game without TDM, full of sniper spam sounds great. This title offers something unique and you should be happy with it. There are always other titles that have TDM and comp leaderboards. Im not flaming you but understand people are tired of playing the same thing, this game is unlike any game i have played, and is 100% team based. Where other companies have tried to accomplish what they have with Brink, all the other titles have the same feel and play, while Brink stands out among them. There is nothing wrong with what is offered in this game. Saying DLC needs to be released with map packs because you have played the game non stop and being tired of maps and gametypes is your own fault. My sugguestion is have fun with it, Its just a game not a real life competition. Gold camo and items, cmon man seriously?

i agree leaderboards encourage kids to get cheats and stuff so that there name is at the top. if you want stats play another game. yes let me know how many games my team has won and how many time I've played a certain class. but leaderboards for kills and stuff like that could kill brink.

I dont care about deathmatch, but I would like a quicker game mode. I think stopwatch limited to the first objective could be really good.

And yes, I want leaderboards. If you don't care about them noone twists your damn arm to look at them. I like them as a personal goal to work on while I also try to help the team. It adds something to keep it interesting when playing the exact same gametype 20 times in a row. There is no way to lead leaderboards without helping your team, I mean how the hell is someone going to lead something like objectives completed or yes even kills without helping their team to some degree. and cheating is not a major problem on 360 games.

Wow, the only suggestion I thought of was being able to give your characters names. Idk why, I just think they should each have their own name, they all seem to be silent and name-less with my gamer-tag floating over their heads... which isn't bad, I just think it would add that finishing touch to the customization, and would be a cool feature when you're playing Solo, to see your character's name in the killfeed, instead of them all being called "JACKSONofSPADES".

Are you serious? Loling at that? Jesus. The vast majority of games have almost zero effective cheating. The really popular games have people figuring things out to mess with, but game to game its normally fine. Occasionally people find button glitches and such.

But there is not rampant aimbotting, see through walls and such real hardcoe cheating that used to plague PC games and still does at times. Most of what is there is relatively minor or gets patched quickly.

Why don't you list the rampant cheating youve seen that wasnt relatively quickly patched. Ive played dozens of multiplayer games and while occasionally you hear about something happening, the last time I ever had major problems with cheaters personally was way back in halo 2 where modders killed the game for months.

lobbies and map packs, everything else is bad idea,

Especially team deathmatch. Simply put, 8 heavys half enginner half medic beat EVERYTHING. Objrctives were what this game was made for, lets keep it that way.

What I meant by competitive leaderboards - is WIN LOSS Ratio.. objectives completed etc.. Not necessarily KD.

1. Yes, i am.

2. In many other titles which i wont name on another games community there are tons of hacks and mods, you must not play that many games.

3. Do your own homework and prove me wrong. A simple opionion saying there are no mods out there doesnt prove there arent mods. I guess you never heard of these guys with Jtags.

Not that it isn't a problem, but getting caught ensures that your account WILL be banned.

I do play games on the PC, yes. I have two desktops that I upgrade regularly. But I still prefer consoles for most games.

I'd like to see everything but upgraded leaderboards. I mean, if we do get them, I wouldn't care, it's just that I really don't care about leaderboards either way. And I hate to say it, but objective 24/7 will get old. I think classic team deathmatch would help freshen things up a bit. This game would work brilliantly with a Team deathmatch mode.

OP, add lag fix to your poll. This seems like a good poll to grab Splash Damage's attention with. I mean, they already know the lag needs fixing, but it couldn't hurt.

More maps with new objectives and a lobby system.

But first, they need to patch all (xbox360) problems.

This ^

TDM would be a great addition to brink. and it should not be that hard to add since you already have the maps. its not like you need to add a new map just for tdm alone, like every other map.
