Well, at the very least, I think it shows that glitching should be somewhat difficult to do. He was having trouble getting anywhere he shouldn't using superjump.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was done with mods that you can unlock in-game, or if it only works for private matches, or there's some other reason why it won't happen in a legitimate game.

Notice the one time anyone other than the guy shown leaves the ground, it's when he shoots them, and they float down with low gravity as well? Pretty sure it affects everyone, not just the player who added the mod, so it's going to be host-set and perfectly reasonable to use.

Won't be a "hacker gets to do crazy stuff nobody else can" thing, as far as i could tell from that video. Doesn't help that the bad music was distracting and he was the ONLY person to jump EVER though...

always, eh? Dedicated servers means the server admin has control. Suspect someone of cheating? Ban him.

Who said anything about cheating? ETPro, Banimod, Shrub mod, No Quarter, etc. These are all mods. None of them involve cheating.

Since there's currently no confirmation on modding tools, it is extremely unlikely that any sort of mod will be seen on Brink for a very long time. Even if there were, you could just avoid the server and play on a different one.

theres no excuse for cheaters this time, MMOFPS people might do it for 2 reasons, #1 being the obvious "they svck big black donkey (censored...censored) with a (censored) up in they're (censored censored censored) until the handle breaks off and they need a doctor to pull it out again." the other is just a matter of boredom so they want to just walk through the map griefing other players. Brink you can play offline you wanna cheat? fine have fun go to it have a great day dude, OFFLINE, don't mess me up cause your bored. least Brink doesn't have k/d and does have easy drop in drop out, cheaters will just find themselves messing with AI wondering why nobody is yelling at him and why he's not getting the attention he craves.

p.s.@ The Zero: though i love to see a cheat peddler getting flamed, i hate to see one of my buds doing it, he's just doing it cause nobody ever paid much attention to him so he'll get friends this way, he's like a geeky drug pusher and to even lower yourself to interacting with that is just as bad so please leave the raging to me and keep your sense of pride.
