Well the Declaration of Independence wasn't the first example of limiting royal power but do you see anyone complaining?

You don't say. Did you know most white people can trace their ancestors to Italy or Great Britain?

I still remember the Magna Carta and your point could use a better example.

Yeah, right after I posted that I was like, "I knew I should've used the Augustus Caesar example."

Brink is better because it doesn't have RAINBOW in its name...

Take that back, rainbows are awesome.

I absolutely love Brink, and can NOT wait for it, but everyone thinks Brink is the first game to link your single and multiplayer character. Although I really love the idea, Brink isn't the first game ever to do this. Just want people to know, Rainbow Six:Vegas 2 does exactly that. Just want you guys to know.

True, Brink isn't the first to have persistent character development via offline and online, but it's the first to seamlessly blend multiplayer and single player, which is what the creators are boasting. You're single player game can easily become multiplayer without interrupting the game with random people joining in on both security and resistance. In other words, there is virtually no difference between single player and multiplayer. RB:V2 didn't have that, if i recall correctly. Fun game, though. Kinda wish they'd make another Vegas.

You said something smelled fishy. He replied that the Ark was in the middle a giant ocean.

You'd come across a good load of fish if you're in the middle of the ocean, hence the smell.

Yeah but multiplayer didn't have a story, and you couldn't play through an immersive RPG-esque narrative in multiplayer. Multiplayer and singleplayer were separate experiences.

Rainbow Six Vegas:2 doesn't have parkour nor does it have Brinks vast amount of customization. here to fore, Tom Clancy can svck on that.

FYI Borderlands did this to, all it did for that game was making cheating easier, by hacking there single player game it transfered the data to the multiplayer part.

Hope Brink won't fall for that trap.

As far as I can tell, Cryptonite, that wouldn't work in Brink.

In any case, to the original poster (I've now forgotten who you were, sorry), that is a very good note, thank you. I shan't lie to anyone now.

You are right, I guess. Most people seem to have missed your point.
But R6V2 was quite a buggy piece of wtfbbq, while BRINK is supposedly a very well polished piece of awesomebbqsauce.

And BRINK is the first game to blend single-player and multi-player in one environment.
The concept of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvF6iRPg6-w, though. And I believe The Crossing would've made it slightly more intense, even.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has the same customisation system like BRINK. But BRINK has it with more depth.
