BRINK is kinda like Urban Chaos: Riot Response...

Alright, this may be coming out of left field, but the more i play BRINK, the more i'm reminded of a highly underrated gem called Urban Chaos: Riot Response.

this game was the very first game made by Rocksteady. That's right, the same Rocksteady that went on to make the damn-near perfect Batman: Arkham Asylum.

you start the game as a cop, Nick Mason, a member of an elite team of police officers tasked with protecting the city in times of chaos, such as rioting or civil unrest. a new gang has taken control of the streets, and is causing mass mayhem, and are doing everything they can to take you out. as you probably guessed, it wasn't very popular or successful, but was one hell of a brutal, fun, and all around GREAT game.

it starts out very slow, but QUICKLY picks up the pace, and by the end, you're dodging thrown cleavers, molotovs, nail bombs, sawn-off shotgun blasts, and cement saw wielding pyros, all while laughing at the cheesy post 9-11 rhetoric and characters. it also had http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn1R8Jrmais.
