It looks fine a bit overused animation but who cares, it's about 3:40 - 3:50.
It looks like an okay knifing thingy, sorry about posting the link thing i dont know how to change it into words, im not a computer person.

Yes I saw it also the slide tackle and gunbutt. What is your point?

I've seen in an interview that if you only equip a pistol your secondary weapon would be a knife, and would actually do more damage with it. I hope this isn't too overpowered, I don't want another batch of "only knifers" to pour over from CoD.

Its not a OHI, except on an unbuffed light.

I hope it takes several swipes towards any body-type (light less, medium half and half, and heavy more) in order to knock them off their feet.

oh i was just showing the knife animation in a video to people who havent seen it, because this is the only video ive seen that shows the knifing, i was just putting it up so the people who hadnt seen it, so they could see it. :icecream:

Knives do more damage no knockdown.

Knifing isn't going to be OP. The thing I want to see is the ability to have different knife attacks. It would be cool if you could do the CoD slash for ~50% damage, or a full really hard stab like in Battlefield. It could be like a power attack where you hold down the button. The Battlefield knife was slow (if you watch the animation, your character actually reaches down, pulls out his knife, and stabs really really hard). It is almost useless for a head on attack, unlike with CoD knifers. The puny CoD instant slash wouldn't kill someone unless you severed a major artery or the brain stem. Just a thought...

That is why operatives do it from behind. I don't know about the variable melee attack, interesting concept. Knives are a stealth weapon for sure.

I'm just SO happy there are no one hit kills. That would ruin the game for me. I hate playing Black Ops and having people run around with ballistic knives, killing you before you can even lay a shot. But this game is gonna tide me over for a couple months at least. I had purchased Team Fortress 2 in January of '09, and boy golly, I already have 656 hours on it. I'm sure BRINK will surpass that in a week. What? There aren't enough hours in the week for that to be possible? BRINK will make it possible.

Are you sure thats how it works? I think what they said was that if you melee with a pistol you use a knife but if you switch to primary you will gunbutt.

i think this game will have scary moments. You know your just chilling around walking down an alley and you look up and you see a houdlum jump across the gap, then five seconds later jump behind you.But it'll be fun, :celebration:

Correct only when the pistol is out you can knife.
