From my few hours playing Brink, it's pretty fun. Gives me a break from the other couple games I've been playing for the past few years. I like how objective driven the gameplay is, and the movement style is pretty fun too.

That being said:
It's slow. In terms of movement speed. I'd honestly never consider playing Brink competitive due to how slow it is. Running in Brink feels like walking in other games. Sliding could go for more of a "dodge" feel as well. And you can't run backwards or sideways?

Since the chances that they'd increase the speed of the game are essentially 0, I'm wondering if Brink can be modded. I'd love a mod with more speed.
