Actually there are plenty of games with full human players... I've been in quiet a few already.

This applies to the OP and to the rest of you obviously blind and biased tools:

All, ALL, other games that have come out over the last couple of years that have had problems didn't do so a week early
because the publishing and/or developing companies were scared of their new title being forgotten due to the release of another
popular title on the same day.

SD and Bethesda deserve absolutely NO credit for this mess of a release and should be openly ridiculed and mocked forever from
all console users that actually purchased this game on launch day or at full price. We were told that this game was done late last
year and all they had to do for the last couple of months was polish and tweak the game and some of its' game play mechanics.
Because of this they decided to release the game a week early saying they were done and everything was ready.

This was a bold, and clearly obvious lie that they know they've been caught in. The most likely explains the free DLC.

They only decided to release the game early because they knew they would have gotten destroyed and embarrassed in sales by
LA Noire. I cant blame them for changing the release date. It's smart business. But to bump up the release date when you clearly
know that your game is going to ship unfinished is unacceptable and truly shows what they think of their prospective customers.

While the horrible lag is not universal, the many bugs, glitches, and overall sloppy game design is. To call this game an incomplete
game is not only justified it is an undeniable fact.

Agreed.

Actually, you are. From the testing that myself and some others have done on PC, it is in fact the bots that are (at least in part) causing the lag. When a real player joins, the Bot he replaces goes into Spectate, which means when you have a full server of players, you also have 16 bots in Spectate that the server is running, for a total of 32 players. I'm not saying this is the case for everyone, or the only source of lag, but in the games I've played, when the admin boots the bots from spectate, I have better ping on an EU server than I do on a NA server. I'm located in Quebec Canada.

Can confirm that i think.

Yesterday i joined a server but didnt get that there are more bots then real players on it cause i didnt watched to scorescreen so i played 10 minutes on CC and then it started lagging like [censored].10 meter back,10 meter forth,10 meters to the side,10 meter to the other side.

That was the first time i had such lag in Brink. After that i joined a game with only real players and there was no lag whatsoever.Yeah,i had bad FPS but lag,no.

Been a while since I've posted (mostly due to enjoying Brink a little too much)

True there are some issues with the game (nowadays, none of them are released without them) however I can totally live with them.

For those of you doubting the 8 VS 8 human players on 360; try playing big team settings on freeplay. I must admit it is the only setting I have ever player 8 VS 8 players, but it consistently happens with that setting. It is sometimes a pain to get my 2 other friends who play with me on the same side (mostly due to games having already 8 players on each side) but once it happens, it's total fun for hours. On a side not, you can check the scoreboard to know if you are playing against bots, players have latency bars next to the end of their name.

Usually the best way to get my friends on the same team is to start a new Big Team game, usually done by selecting a specific map (such as siding with the resistance on reactor... Good luck wining though, it can be crazy hard but it's been done against other bad player teams...) and then just wait because they usually fill up to 8 VS 8 in about 1-2 maps. I know CoD has full 8 VS 8 in about 2 mins... But still this is not so bad and it's not game breaking to have a little patience.

Lag is usually not an issue but then again, one of my friend has a crazy internet connection (he doesn't usually play games on 360 but wanted to play with us (I sport an Imac cause I don't game on PC much) ), but it does still happen when other players are hosting. I would suggest a soft host migration: change host when someone has a noticeable better connection rather than just switch whenever someone has something slightly better.

Big Teams did make it much easier for players to have 8 VS 8 on the 360.
This is an issue I'm glad SD fixed very quickly.

Also for people who can't find decent HvsH games, try switching to visibility: everyone... This might seem stupid but I know one of friends had problem with this option always turning back to friend and invite only after he exited games. lol
