Hi, I think this has been asked before but i'm not sure, but anyway what are you guys going to make your character look like? I think for one of them i'll make a small guy with a jamaican accent with handlebars and a buzzcut. What will you look like?

Almost undoubtedly been asked before, but it's slow going around here.

Sort of on the topic, would be nice to be able to check out the customization set up on the main site, instead of just being able to see a collection of pre-made characters.

On topic, I plan to have ten different looking guys with 2 looks a piece, but my first guy is likely going to end up as a lightweight with a blonde military cut/flattop/faux hawk (depending on options), with maybe a small amound of facial hair, and no accent (whatever sounds the least accented).

His security outfit is going to be dark pants (black) with a vest top, sunglasses, and a hat, maybe the berret or the cap, but hopefully the Fallout Beenie.
His resistance outfit will be green pants with the armor that has "scales" on one arm, and maybe a bandana around my face.

I would also like to see a character creator on the main site instead of just the pre made their. I'd post on their twitter asking if they plan on putting it up but I don't have a twitter lol. I'd like to be able to get my characters look down so I don't panic on launch day trying to make a character i wont regret later because I just wanted to get into the game. On topic I'm not sure. A big guy covered in as much metal as possible. American or russian accent as well. Other than that I have no idea.

Rather long armed/faced. Probably with a glint in his eye, and a slight frown. Also athletic. Maybe even like he was living on rations and in a war zone...

I am unsure of my character's face and hair, but it's not going to matter since I'm going to be wearing the Sweat headgear. I'll probably model his face and hair after my own. I'll also be wearing the Fortress top and the Firestarter pants. I'll likely use the Tortured Soul tattoo from my Psycho Pack preorder as well.

Since I am planning to play only Resistance in multiplayer, I haven't given a lot of thought to a Secuity outfit. I'll figure it out on the fly when I do the Security campaign.

Actually, in some places (mainly England I believe), they refer to the least accented to be an American accent, although I understand what you mean.

Why panic? I know you want to play the game earlier, but truly taking the time to perfect your characters look to what you believe to be perfect will make the cutscenes (even the ones your character is barely in) will be all the more special cause you can look at that character and say "My character looks badass"

This is a brillant idea, but only if Splash Damage is willing to put some people aside to make this and hit release on May 17th.

This is probably one of my favorite questions from a forum.

Security:Tanish color skin, dark slightly spiked hair, Russian accent, cowboy hat from The Jesse, jacket from The Freak, pants from The Jesse.

Resistance: Same skin, hair, and voice, Bandana and mask and goggles from The Sweat, shirt from The G, pants from The Fire-starter.

Can't wait for the game, I'll see you guys in the ARK.

The Freak without the mask and with the Good Cop pants.

Leather jacket + cargo pants = Awesome

Really? Holy cow. Why do you think that is so?

I know that here in the Midwest, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midland_American_English is the prime example of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_American, but I never knew that even the British pegged us as plain. You know you lead a vanilla life when...

Security: The Eel Mask, Good Cop Shirt, The Freak Pants or The Jesse Pants.

Resistance: The Anger Coat maybe, Undecided on a mask, The Firestarter Pants.

Both: Poked out eye, and glasgow smile or acid burns.

Offtopic: This. And for me, its http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_English. I live in San Diego so, you can scroll to the bottom to read how lazy we speak. (at least I think we do)

On topic: I forget exactly what I posted from the other thread, maybe I'll copy/paste, brb.

Edit:
Name: Michael Thompson "Napalm"
Race: Mixed; African-American/Italian-American
Allegiance: Freedom (Resistance)
Appearance: Soldier, Heavy Body Type. Looks like he's in his late 40's but his strength doesn't show signs of breaking. Mixed tattoos of tribal and fire under a white tank top with a thick brown leather shoulder strap
holding a large metal shoulder pad that extends down the arm (left side). Armored camo pants, army boots, gas mask and mohawk. Random grenades and what looks to be a self made flamethrower can be found in the sack he carries on his back.

Likes: Fire and explosives. Information; finding it, using it to his advantage. Alcohol, cigarettes, cannabis, guns. Not in that order.
Dislikes: Being given directives forcefully. Not getting what he wants, or his supply running out. Having to shout.

Yes I plan to make a Joker character. A badass clown. Other characters will be just as badass if less clownish.

More or less "american" for my first guy, although there are a wide variety of american accents out there, and I don't know what's in the game (anybody know what the accents are?)

I was thinking about making as much use of the Molly as I can just to stick with my name. Besides blowing up objectives.

Something like this: http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/zz185/FelixDuo/ranger.png for one of my guys. And then one of them will be a recreation of Jin from Casshern Sins. And I've got about a quadrillion other ideas bouncing around, but I'm going to wait until I see some more customization before I make any more plans.
