is anyone else having an issue where several members Avatars are refusing to load?

I see lots of broken avatars.

Fortunately, mine appears to be unaffected.

I haven't memorized which people use avatars and which don't. I wouldn't really know whether most people's avatars are loading properly or not.

Everyone but Ephidel's generic sidways Pac-Man is a no-show. Curiously, Funnybunny's still appears in the topic creator avatar spot at the top.

Ah, yes. Now I see what you're talking about. They were showing up for me when I wrote my earlier post. Maybe this is Bethesda's way of trying to coax us to use the new forums.

Imploding? No, but considering they're already on life support,and Beth clearly doesn't care, I don't expect much if any action on this matter.

It'd be nice to be wrong...hell, I really hope I am, but Beth's not given me any reason to believe a word they say recently.

Ouch, I'm a bit dyslexic and mostly recognize posters from their avatars, not their name.

It is everyone's avatar, that doesn't use the generic placeholder. Re-uploading the avatar picture doesn't help.

Well.. it's actually somewhat of a relief that it isn't my chrome book...which was having some issues... I kinda look for people by their avatar..specially when I am tired

I can't see any of them. They're all broken, unless you don't have one, then I can see the default "no avatar" image.

As I said earlier, they're still being displayed for the title bar's original poster avatar image link.

And, as I said earlier, there's a pretty serious widespread vulnerability involving images I linked to earlier. This might be a... hasty response to it.

EDIT: I spoke too soon, it seems. Now the title bar OPer avatar is out too. Maybe they read my earlier post and realized they missed that.

Did they do some variety of update?? Things are seriously screwed up.

And so it continues. The neglect of these forums is, quite frankly, saddening. And with all the problems of the new forums, it's like being forced to move from an unmaintained, but comfortable, home to a 150 foot studio controlled by a management agency who doesn't give a [censored].

The admins are aware of the problem.

And, no, the entire forum is not about to be shut down.
