Is it safe to store my items on a very small cave called Broken Fang Cave? It looks real nice, killed a few vampires and got contracted by their disease, so now on 100% Vampirism, i can't live in any of the city holds. So living here would be pretty sweet.

According to UESP, the cave resets, so I wouldn't live there. Unless you want to be ambushed by vampires when you come home from dragon-slaying!

The containers will reset if you don't visit the place for 30 days. You can feed on people to revert to level one vampirism, people won't attack you then.

If you plan to stay as a vamp, I suggest getting the necromage restoration perk, check my sig if you didn't know.

yeah that loc resets so I think the way that works you have to visit at least once every 10 days or risk throwing your stuff away... I think it would also be possible for a radiant quest to be pointed there and then you'd be screwed either way. good idea except for the game mechanics.

Unless you're on pc? I imagine you can make the containers safe with commands.

Note, even though caves and dungeons reset, not all containers do. Just most of them. For example, every Chest in a dungeon is set to respawn, but every chest in a city does not, other than barracks chests.

However, having to battle NPCs like Clouseau did with Kato gets old. Although, if you keep coming back within 29 days, they should not respawn, and the containers should not respawn. Note, I am saying Should not.

There are other places to call home that are away from a city, like the Alchemists Shack.
