Pretty self-explanatory. I repaired the lift in the aquarium then ran inside. And then I waited. Went back to it a few times over the course of the match and it never moved. Checked the generator every time. Was playing a heavy so maybe I set off the weight limit?

never happened to me.. Theres another short cut up there through the air vents anyways..

I experienced the same but i`m playing on PS3 and got a medium char. Maybe it want move instant if somebody moves in or the lift is moving every ?? sec so you have to wait what would be somehow weird. :blink:

There really should be a button to use it. I don't know how many times I've been running to the elevator to have the doors close in my face as a lone bot takes it up. And yes the vent is sort of an alternative but I didn't think heavies could take that path.

Wtf there is a lift? Ive played this level so many times, and repairing that generator i just figured it unblocked a passage or something. I have never actually seen a lift?! Where the hell is it?!

I've investigated this once, and I believe it is a bot getting stuck in it when it goes up, and since they don't leave it, it won't go back down.

No I could go inside, it just wouldn't move. Though I could easily see your situation happening a lot too.
